How we collect data
We collect data in two ways:
- Through our secure order form.
- Through cookies on our website.
Our order form only asks for the information we need to know in order to fulfil your purchase. We store all customer data securely in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Cookies are small files stored on your computer when you access a website. Cookies only contain data, not code, so they can never install a virus or spyware on your computer.
- E-commerce cookies are used on the order form so that we can process your order. These are strictly necessary to provide you with the product you have ordered.
- Analytics cookies allow us to track visitors anonymously in order to improve our website's design and performance.
Cobweb uses WorldPay to process card payments for purchases. WorldPay processes payments for all major credit cards and serves millions of people around the world.
Cobweb uses WorldPay to process your payment only. Once you have confirmed your order details you are taken to WorldPay's secure server to input your card payment details. WorldPay transmits confirmation that payment has been collected and Cobweb then processes your order. At no time does Cobweb have access to your payment card details.
If you want more information about WorldPay, visit www.worldpay.com.
If you have questions about any other part of our order process, please don't hesitate to contact us.
